If you prefer a simpler look, 1.5 to 2 times the width will suffice.If you’ve only measured the width of the window and don’t have a curtain rod yet, the rod width should generally be 1.2 to 1.5 times the window width. When selecting window drapes and curtains, make sure to consider both the window and rod sizes to achieve the ideal fit for your space.
